Hi, Here are some frequent questions customers have asked - hope these help!

Place items you want in your basket by pressing "Add to Basket" underneath the product description.

To change quantities or delete an item, Go to your Basket or Cart up at the top. Use Remove" to delete an item. Use "Update" to change the Quantity.

If you want personalization of bookplates, when you place the bookplate into your cart, you can choose to personalize. If that choice is not offered, that bookplate cannot be personalized.

To make changes in a Personalized Bookplate already in the Basket, you need to redo the Personalization order. You should first Remove the personalized bookplates from your inventory, then reorder.

When you are ready to pay, use the
proceed to Checkout button. Once in the Checkout area, if you want to change quantities you see in your basket, you have to go to Basket or Cart again. You can't change them from the Checkout area, but you CAN change them! .

Some common problems and explanations

1. Basket appears empty though you know you have placed items in it
  • Check to make sure you have filled out bill to ship to information during log in (whether or not you are creating an account)
  • You may be ordering something with a negative inventory (we have 0 or - in stock -- you cannot always add to basket).
  • Have you met the $10.00 minimum (actually $9.99)?
  • Are you ordering personalized bookplates? Check to make sure all information is filled in (name, font and check the realization it can take two weeks to ship).
  • Cookies are blocked on your browser. Cookies are needed to view the basket contents. They can be set at different levels. You should be able to view the contents of your basket if your Internet Privacy Protection is set on High, but if your browser is set to Block All Cookies, your basket will always appear empty!
    You may have to check with your techie guru but you should also be able to go to Settings/Web Options or Tools/Internet Options/Privacy or Cookie Manager in your browser, to see what the Cookie setting is. and change it. Some browsers allow you to set your Cookie Manager for individual sites.

2. After filling out your name and address in the Bill to / Ship to page, you aren't allowed to move past that page

Most common problems are caused by what the form wants you to do! For U.S. Billing and Shipping, if you leave out anything, it keeps sending you back to the same page, but it also stops telling you what it needs - see the blue arrow below - that's usually the problem. You just need to fill it all in, and it will be happy to let you move on. (International customers, see further down for similar problem).











































































If you are billing or shipping internationally, make sure you put something in the blank area shown where the blue arrow is pointing. You can repeat the city or put in the province, just fill it in!


3. Problems in paying on the website.

Please be patient. Sometimes the site is slow, don't push the Pay button several times, wait a few seconds before pushing it again. Don't push it repeatedly - you may cause yourself to be billed more than once or freeze your system. Please be patient, computers are only humanly created.

Payments are processed by a third party service - it is very safe, as you can see by the "https:" information.

You can also
mail in or e-mail in orders if you do not like the on-line system, but please be aware that we use the same system over the internet to process the credit card information you give us by mail or phone.
